ESTFISH.EE PRIVACY POLICY

1. General Provisions

1.1. This Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing, and storage of personal data on the website Estfish.ee (hereinafter the Online Store).

1.2. The personal data controller is Estfish OÜ (registry code 14455945, address Tuuliku tee 4, Tallinn, email info@estfish.ee, tel +372 56661161, hereinafter the Seller).

1.3. The Seller complies with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Personal Data Protection Act of the Republic of Estonia when processing personal data.

2. What Personal Data is Collected and for What Purpose?

The Seller processes the following personal data of the Customer solely for the specified purposes:

  • First name and surname, phone number, email address: necessary for booking confirmation, coordinating fishing trip details, sending e-gift cards, and communicating with the Customer.

  • Postal address and parcel locker location: necessary for delivering physical gift cards via the method selected by the Customer.

  • Payment details and transaction history: necessary for completing purchasing transactions, confirming payments, and fulfilling accounting obligations.

  • Information submitted via contact forms: necessary for responding to Customer inquiries and requests.

3. Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties (Authorized Processors)

The Seller keeps the Customer's personal data confidential and does not transfer it to third parties, except to the extent necessary for the provision of services to the following authorized processors:

  • Payment service provider: Payments are mediated by Maksekeskus AS. The Seller transfers the personal data necessary for executing payments to Maksekeskus AS.

  • Postal and courier service providers: For delivering physical gift cards, the necessary data (name, phone number, address/parcel locker) is transferred to logistics partners (e.g., Omniva, SmartPOST, DPD).

  • Accounting service provider: To fulfill statutory accounting obligations.

4. Storage of Personal Data

4.1. The Customer's personal data is stored for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose or to comply with a legal obligation:

  • Data contained in primary accounting documents is stored for 7 years in accordance with the law.

  • Data related to bookings and inquiries is stored until the provision of the service and the expiry of the potential claim period.

5. Rights of the Customer

The Customer has the right at any time to:

  • Request access to their personal data and request its correction or completion.

  • Request the erasure of their personal data (right to be forgotten), provided there is no legal basis for processing the data (e.g., accounting obligations).

  • Restrict the processing of their personal data or object to its processing.

  • Contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (AKI) or a court to protect their rights.

All requests regarding personal data must be submitted in writing to info@estfish.ee.

6. Cookies

6.1. The Online Store uses cookies to ensure a better user experience, track website usage statistics, and ensure the functionality of the online store (e.g., shopping cart functionality).

6.2. The user can disable or limit the use of cookies in their web browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of certain website features.
